Suggested Places sit next to unpaid locations before you search. Paid placements slot into the top of search with a tiny Ad badge. There is no opt-out. Paying for iCloud does not clear the screen.

A state board had already put about 30 million dollars and 3,200 cameras on the map, paid for with a one-dollar fee on car insurance. Pflugerville killed all 28. Hood County unplugged. Kendall will not renew more than 50. Santa Barbara has no plate readers running. Hopkinton told Flock to take the cameras down. Tempe turned them off. Ninety-three places ended Flock in August alone. This is a win. People showed up. The cameras came down. Keep going.

You bought the truck. You parked it in the driveway. California just voted to decide what rubber you are allowed to bolt on. On August 17, 2026 the California Energy Commission voted unanimously to adopt the nation's first Replacement Tire Efficiency Program under AB 844. Retailers will be barred from selling passenger and light-truck replacement tires that fail state rolling-resistance thresholds.

Washington already tried the same model with HB 2262 and SB 6304. Factory low-rolling-resistance rubber is for the EPA window sticker. Mountain winters and deep-tread all-seasons are not. USTMA and TIA warned that entry-level all-seasons get wiped, wet traction and tread depth get cut, and the bill jumps hundreds of dollars a set. Carve-outs for winter, competition, and off-road rubber prove the rule cannot survive contact with real roads. This is not a fuel-economy tweak. It is the state picking the compound that touches the ground.

On July 1, 2026, PlayStation said new games go digital-only in January 2028. The license is the part that hits you now. If they close the account, the permission ends with it.
