The U.S. war on Iran isn’t just about targeting the Islamic Republic… it’s also a desperate attempt to cut off the energy supply to China, ahead of Washington’s fantasy of a “war on China” in the years to come.

But nothing that was written in the policy papers is going as planned for the U.S. Establishment, as China has spent the last several years building up its strategic oil reserves, improving its renewable energy technology, etc. As a result, Beijing isn’t just exporting refined rare earth minerals, it’s also exporting the overwhelming majority of the world’s clean technology.

KJ Noh, an independent journalist specializing in the geopolitics of the Asia-Pacific region, noted that just like Iran, China has spent years preparing for the possibility of war with the U.S., and it is ready to weather any storm Washington may try to throw its way.

Scott Ritter: WE LOST EUROPE, THE PACIFIC AND THE NOTION OF US MILITARY INVINCIBILITY IN WAR ON IRAN

President Trump declared on Thursday that “we have very good relations with Iran,” after more than a month of war, as speculation mounts over whether there is a chance for another round of talks in Islamabad, now that the U.S. and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire in Lebanon.

Scott Ritter, a former UN Weapons Inspector and US Marine Corps Intelligence Officer, noted that even if a deal is made to end the war, U.S. influence on the global stage has been harmed significantly by its war of choice against Iran, and as a result: “We lost Europe, we lost the Pacific, and we also lost the notion of the invincibility of the American military.”

LEBANON CEASEFIRE ANNOUNCED – ISRAEL CAVES TO IRAN'S PRESSURE, BATTLEFIELD WOES | Dimitri Lascaris

President Trump announced that Israel and the US-backed Lebanese government have agreed to a 10-day ceasefire, which is set to go into effect at midnight in Beirut tonight. This, after immense pressure from Iran to include Lebanon in the overall ceasefire, and after the IDF failed to accomplish any of Israel’s goals with its war on south Lebanon.

Journalist and Lawyer Dimitri Lascaris noted that we have seen no evidence that the U.S. is finished with its overall war on Iran, and it’s likely the ceasefire in Lebanon will be used to buy more time, as the U.S. and Israel prepare for their next attack.

China is decrying the U.S. blockade on Iranian ports, calling it “dangerous and irresponsible.” But while President Trump has made his threats to the Strait of Hormuz clear, traffic is still continuing in many ways, as Iran and China refuse to back down.

Col. Larry Wilkerson, former Chief of Staff to the U.S. Secretary of State, said he dares Trump to directly challenge Xi Jinping, because “Xi will show Trump the flat-side of his hand” in a confrontation. He also noted that Iran’s next tier of attacks — reportedly using Chinese satellite technology — threaten to put “the globe in a recession by June, and in a depression by August,” with the targeting of key resources and facilities across the Persian Gulf region.

U.S. NAVAL BLOCKADE FAILS + IDF AMBUSHED IN BINT JBEIL AS CEASEFIRE PRESSURE MOUNTS | Laith Marouf

Reports say Israel’s security cabinet is meeting to discuss a ceasefire for Lebanon that would go into effect at midnight local time, on Wednesday night, and would last for the second week of the US-Iran ceasefire.

This, as Trump’s plans for a naval blockade on the Strait of Hormuz have failed miserably, as Iran and China have made it clear that they will not be bossed around by the U.S. president.

Laith Marouf, journalist and executive director of Free Palestine TV based in Beirut, noted that Hezbollah’s latest ambush attacks on IDF troops in Bint Jbeil are a reminder that even with a week of Iran adhering to a ceasefire, Israel has been unable to accomplish any of its goals in south Lebanon.

The Trump Admin is pretending it’s making progress towards “peace” in Lebanon, as Secretary of State Marco Rubio hosted a hand-picked envoy from the US-backed Lebanese government and an Israeli envoy, for talks in Washington on Tuesday. But Israel just doubled down on its refusal for a ceasefire, and put more pressure on Beirut to “disarm” Hezbollah.

Veteran Lebanese Journalist Dr. Marwa Osman described the impact of Israel’s latest massacres across Lebanon, noting that every family has lost a friend or a loved one, as the death toll continues to climb.

She also noted that the Trump Admin’s pressure on their puppets in Beirut is going to backfire, as Israel’s latest war crimes push the Lebanese people to increase support for Hezbollah, and as Resistance fighters refuse to let Israel occupy an inch of ground in the South.

The U.S.-sanctioned Chinese tanker “Rich Starry,” transporting 250,000 barrels of methanol from the UAE, became the first ship to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, despite the threatened U.S. blockade. A test of whether the U.S. Navy can and will attempt to impede traffic, and target other nations directly, as part of its war on Iran.

Iranian Prof. Seyed Mostafa Khoshcheshm noted that the U.S. showed the world it’s not serious about peace talks with its performance in Pakistan over the weekend, and it’s still showing that it can’t accomplish a single arbitrary goal in this war, as Trump’s aims seem to change on a daily basis.

IRAN THREATENS TO CLOSE BAB EL-MANDEB AS U.S. ATTEMPTS STRAIT OF HORMUZ BLOCKADE | Ehsan Safarnejad

Iran is warning that it will have "no hesitation in delivering a decisive" response to any aggressor, in the Strait of Hormuz or elsewhere, as President Trump orders the U.S. Navy to impose a naval blockade on the strategic waterway.

Defense Ministry spokesperson Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik said Trump will "fail in any attempt to interfere militarily in the Strait of Hormuz and Sea of Oman, and would bring further defeat to the U.S. and the world."

Iran-based Geopolitical Analyst Ehsan Safarnejad noted that while the U.S. is treating the war in Iran as a game of Poker, you can only "bluff" so many times. That's why Iran is treating this war as a game of Chess, in which it is strategically targeting the U.S. and Israel in a number of ways, militarily and economically.

Iran still has many, many cards it can play that will have a massive impact on the global economy.

Trump’s latest ranting social media post came hours after talks between the U.S. and Iran collapsed in Pakistan, with Vice President JD Vance complaining that Tehran wouldn’t give in to Washington’s demands.

Instead, Iran has continued to stand firm on its red lines for a deal, which include a ceasefire for Lebanon, the right to continue uranium enrichment, and control of the Strait of Hormuz.

U.S. DESTROYER HALTS STRAIT OF HORMUZ BREACH AMID IRAN WARNING + ISLAMABAD TALKS BEGIN | Foad Izadi

Iranian media is reporting that a U.S. destroyer reversed course in the Strait of Hormuz in response to warnings from Iran that it would be targeted “within 30 minutes” if it continued. Axios is reporting that multiple U.S. warships have crossed the Strait, in their first attempt since the war began six weeks ago.

This, as talks begin between delegations from the U.S. and Iran in Islamabad, with Tehran making its red lines clear, which include: a ceasefire for the entire region, unfreezing Iranian assets, and control of the Strait of Hormuz,

Dr. Foad Izadi, an author and associate professor in the Department of American Studies at the University of Tehran, noted that Iran is prepared for every possibility, including the U.S. using these talks as another "deception" campaign to buy time for the next phase of the war.

U.S. LIED ABOUT LEBANON CEASEFIRE IN DESPERATE BID TO GET IRAN TO PAUSE THE WAR

When Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was relaying the message that progress was being made toward a ceasefire deal on Tuesday, he was doing so with the Trump Admin signing off on the wording of his messages, according to reports.

That wording included the announcement of a ceasefire, just before President Trump’s deadline, which Sharif said included the U.S. and Iran, “along with their allies,” and was effective immediately: “everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere.”

Yet, the Trump Admin now claims they never approved the inclusion of a ceasefire for Lebanon. How convenient that their claims come after Trump got his temporary propaganda victory with a ceasefire before his deadline, AND after Netanyahu got his, with a horrific Israeli massacre in Lebanon that left hundreds of civilians dead and wounded.

BREAKING: U.S. CAVES TO IRAN’S DEMANDS FOR A CEASEFIRE… FOR NOW | Brian Berletic

The U.S. and Iran have agreed to a two-week ceasefire, with plans to begin negotiations in Pakistan on Friday. But while President Trump is framing this as a victory, because he got Iran to agree to a ceasefire… Tehran is noting that they got the U.S. to agree to their 10-point plan, which includes Iran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, Iran’s right to enrich uranium, and the promise to lift ALL U.S. sanctions on Iran.

In a statement, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council emphasized: “this does not signify the termination of the war,” and said: “Our hands remain upon the trigger, and should the slightest error be committed by the enemy, it shall be met with full force.”

Brian Berletic, a geopolitical analyst and Host of The New Atlas, noted that we have to remember the U.S. can’t be trusted and it has a history of engaging in talks while using Israel to carry out attacks against Iran. And given the Trump Admin’s recent rhetoric threatening Iran’s civilization, we should be concerned that the next Israeli attack could involve a nuclear weapon.

IRAN REFUSES TO BACK DOWN FROM DEMANDS AS U.S. STRIKES KHARG ISLAND, THREATENS 'WHOLE CIVILIZATION'

President Trump is openly declaring that Iran’s “whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again,” if they don’t agree to a deal by 8 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday. This, as Vice President JD Vance says the U.S. has tools “so far hasn’t decided to use” to enforce Trump’s ultimatum (the White House claims he wasn’t referring to nuclear weapons).

We also have various reports that Iranian negotiators have pulled back from talks through third-party mediator, Pakistan. This, as the U.S. and Israel increase their attacks on railways and bridges instead Iran, with reports that the U.S. has also carried out strikes on Kharg Island. Iran has vowed to continue its strategic response.

US MILITARY LOOKS RIDICULOUS AS IRAN AMBUSHES ISFAHAN OP, 12 AIRCRAFT OBLITERATED | Robert Inlakesh

Iran is reporting the complete destruction of at least 12 American aircraft in Isfahan, following the attempted U.S. Military operation over the weekend: two MC-130 transport planes, four Little Bird helicopters, four Black Hawk helicopters, and two MQ-9 Reaper drones.

This, as questions remain about what the U.S. was attempting in the region, as it was a significant distance from the pilot it claimed to be rescuing from an F-15E fighter jet downed by Iran, near the Persian Gulf.

Independent Journalist Robert Inlakesh noted that it was expected the U.S. would retrieve its owns pilots (it knew their location and Iran didn’t), but the fact that the U.S. Military sent in a dozen aircraft and 100 special ops in a convoluted mission that sounds like a Hollywood movie is just embarrassing, and shows the U.S. has no real strategy.

But while the Trump Admin begs for a ceasefire from Iran, and Tehran points to its demands for an end to U.S. and Israeli aggression across the region, we are reminded that Iran has a planned response for every escalation pursued by its opponents.

U.S. 'PILOT RESCUE' MISSION REALLY A FAILED ATTEMPT TO SEIZE IRAN’S URANIUM STOCKPILE IN ISFAHAN?

We're told the U.S. Military just carried out a "heroic" and "daring" mission to rescue the second pilot on an F-15E fighter jet that was shot down by Iran, and that we should focus only on the perfect Hollywood plot of it all.

Don't ask any questions about why the U.S. sent a dozen aircraft and helicopters with over 100 service members in to Isfahan, when the pilot was supposed to have ejected near the Persian Gulf in Khuzestan. Or why the U.S. Military claims to have destroyed its own aircraft and helicopters, saying they got stuck in the sand... and insisting that no one was injured or killed in the process.

So, why did they target Isfahan, and was it a failed attempt to seize the stockpiles of highly enriched uranium they believe are stored at the region's nuclear facility?

IRAN DEVASTATES U.S. RESCUE OP + RESISTANCE POUNDS ISRAEL WITH HISTORIC ATTACKS | Elijah Magnier

President Trump is throwing another temper tantrum on social media, extending his own deadline for a deal until 8pm Eastern on Tuesday, and threatening to go on a war crimes spree targeting Iran’s civilian infrastructure if Tehran does not comply.

This, after Iran shot down a U.S. F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet on Friday, and Washington’s frantic search mission to rescue the two pilots onboard led to Iran shooting down an A-10 Warthog fighter aircraft (which crashed over Kuwait, where the pilot ejected) and damaging two Black Hawk helicopters.

Iran is reporting that it shot down two US C-130 support aircraft and two Black Hawk helicopters in Isfahan. The Wall Street Journal is also reporting that the U.S. destroyed two of its own MC-130J Special Operations aircraft during the mission, which cost over $100 Million each.

Veteran Journalist Elijah Magnier noted that the U.S. is now stuck in this war of choice pursued by the Trump Admin, and Iran will not allow for an easy off-ramp. Instead, we are seeing the true birth of the Axis of Resistance as a military force, with coordinated attacks targeting Israel (and U.S. Military sites) coming from Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Ansar Allah in Yemen, and Iraq.

'INCOHERENT, ILLEGAL, RECKLESS' Jeffrey Sachs on Trump's Threat to BOMB IRAN 'Back To The Stone Age'

President Trump gave a primetime address, where he updated the world on the war in Iran, and said: "We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks. We’re going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong."

He then insisted that "discussions are ongoing" and Iran wants to make a deal. Tehran has said that's not the case, and they've refused to enter into a third round of negotiations after they were attacked during the first two attempts.

Jeffrey Sachs, an economist, best-selling author, and professor at Columbia University, described Trump's threats as "incoherent, nasty, illegal and reckless," noting that the U.S. president is broadcasting his war crimes to the world, declaring he wants to turn Iran into the next Gaza, and giving Iran no reason to consider talks.

Independent Journalist Jalyssa Dugrot noted that this is an “existential war” for the Lebanese people, and while many have been forced to live in cars and tents as they struggle to survive Israel’s latest attacks on their homes and communities, they are continuing to persevere and fight for their land.

U.S. RUNNING OUT OF TARGETS, TERRORIZING CIVILIANS AS IRAN DECIMATES MILITARY SITES | Setareh Sadeqi

The U.S. and Israel are continuing to terrorize the Iranian people for refusing to overthrow their government and embrace their oppressors. Recent bombings have targeted residential neighborhoods, religious sites, schools, hospitals and cancer treatment centers, etc. An endless list of war crimes “made in the USA.”

Dr. Setareh Sadeqi, of the University of Tehran, noted that overnight bombings in her city of Isfahan likely used 2,000 lb. “Bunker Buster” bombs that both terrorized the civilians and targeted the same sites of the U.S. and Israel have tried to hit before, as they seem to be “running out of targets.”

She also said the Iranian are continuing about their daily lives in every way possible, in yet another form of resistance, as they continue to stand for their nation in nightly rallies that see million of people taking to the streets.

IRAN DESTROYS CRUCIAL E-3 SENTRY SPY PLANE, REFUELING TANKERS IN MAJOR ATTACK ON SAUDI AIR BASE

The Pentagon is reeling, after Iran destroyed a crucial $270 Million E-3 Sentry spy plane—of which, the U.S. Air Force has just 16 left—in an attack on an air base in Saudi Arabia, that also took out multiple refueling tankers.

Not only are the E-3’s not in production anymore, but the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the closest replacement, a Boeing E-7 Wedgetail, would cost $700 Million to produce and the program is “years behind schedule.”

Reports say the Trump Admin is planning for “weeks of ground operations” in Iran, but at the rate they’re going… Washington is looking at more embarrassment and more American soldiers coming home in body bags.

This, as Israel continues to commit horrific war crimes in Lebanon, targeting and murdering three Lebanese journalists in a car… and then proceeding to strike and murder the nine paramedics who rushed to their aid.

Reports say the Pentagon is planning to send another 10,000 ground troops to the Middle East, as President Trump again extends his own deadline for Iran to fully open the Strait of Hormuz—this time, until April 6. This, as reports are starting to admit that the damage Iran has inflicted is severe, and includes making 13 U.S. Military bases in the region “uninhabitable.”

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that if the U.S. does move forward with a ground invasion, whether that’s targeting Iran’s coastline along the Strait or attempting to seize Kharg Island, it will “disastrous,” and nowhere near worth the price American troops will be forced to pay.

The Axis of Resistance is not defeated... instead, we are watching as not only is Iran landing successful missile attacks in Israel and causing significant damage, but so is Hezbollah. In fact, Hezbollah carried out a record 85 operations against Israel in a single day, on Wednesday, with a combination of drone, rocket, artillery, missile and guided anti-tank missile attacks.

Veteran Journalist Dr. Marwa Osman noted that the Lebanese people are united against both Israel, and the US-backed government in Beirut enabling Israeli war crimes against Lebanese civilians. She emphasized that President Trump's demands for a ceasefire and plans for a ground invasion are signs of desperation, as the U.S. struggles to handle the War of Choice it waged against the Resistance.

IRAN: U.S. MILITARY BASES 'ELIMINATED' + 2,000 PARATROOPERS EN ROUTE FOR INVASION | Laith Marouf

The Pentagon has ordered around 2,000 soldiers from the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division to begin moving to the Middle East, as an estimated 4,500 Marines are already en route, amid soaring tensions surrounding a potential U.S. attempt at a ground invasion of Iran.

Laith Marouf, a journalist and executive director of Free Palestine TV, noted that a ground invasion would be a “suicide mission” for American troops, and that if there was an easy way to invade Iran… it would have been done by now.

Instead, the U.S. is looking at a number of bad options, and even the seizure of Kharg Island would be short-lived, as Iran’s gains continue all around and they they include airspace dominance over West Asia.

The global economy is starting to panic, as the war in Iran is not only a military war, but an economic war... and everything from Iran's restrictions on the Strait of Hormuz, to the various attacks on energy infrastructure across West Asia, as the U.S. and Israel have continued to escalate the conflict, has put the world's supply of oil, gas, fertilizer, etc. in a dire position.

Prof. Richard Wolff, an American Economist and founder of Democracy at Work, noted that the Petrodollar as we know it is OVER with the War in Iran, because the Gulf states are learning the hard way that they can no longer rely on the U.S.

He also predicted it will be the start of a major shift away from reliance on oil and gas, and towards new partnerships, as countries like Russia and China continue to stand with Iran, and U.S. allies from Europe to Asia, feel the pain of this war.

U.S. TO DEPLOY 82ND AIRBORNE TROOPS, WITH MARINES EN ROUTE + IRAN'S MISSILES POUND TEL AVIV, HAIFA

Reports say the Pentagon is preparing to deploy a brigade combat team of around 3,000 soldiers from the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East “to support operations against Iran.” This, as thousands of U.S. Marines are already en route, and set to arrive at Central Command on Friday, which just happens to be Trump’s latest deadline for Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz.

But Iran is NOT backing down, as it launched the 79th wave of attacks in its strategic response to the U.S. and Israel’s war of aggression on Tuesday, with targets that included the Rafael weapons industries in Haifa, Israeli Aerospace Industries near Ben Gurion Airport, and refueling aircraft at the airport.

IRAN REJECTS TALKS, U.S. DEPLOYS MARINES & ISRAEL HUMILIATED IN LEBANON | Elijah Magnier

Iran’s foreign minister says “there’s no dialogue between Tehran and Washington,” after President Trump declared that he was postponing his own deadline for U.S. Military strikes on Iranian power plants, claiming the two countries were engaged in “productive” talks.

However, Trump’s statement notably comes on a Monday morning, as he is desperately trying to lower oil prices, keep the stock market from crashing, and to walk back his own threats after Iran refused to back down on its promise to retaliate with escalated strikes and the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Veteran War Correspondent Elijah Magnier noted that for Iran, this is an existential war, therefore “there is no room for bluffing,” which is why they have retaliated exactly as they said they would.

He also pointed out that the U.S. and Israel have run out of military targets, which is why they’re threatening civilian infrastructure, as the Trump Admin struggles to figure out how to handle an adversary who is willing to fight back.

Dr. Foad Izadi, an author and associate professor in the Department of American Studies at the University of Tehran, noted that after decades of restraint, Iran is now pursuing a policy of “an eye for an eye,” and if the U.S. attacks its decentralized power grid, then Iran will target electricity infrastructure linked to the U.S. and Israel across the region.

Reports say President Trump is considering deploying thousands of U.S. Troops to the Middle East, with air and naval forces to target the Strait of Hormuz, and ground forces to attempt to seize Iran's Kharg Island. This, as the Trump Admin requests $200 BILLION in funding for the war they just launched.

Brian Berletic, a geopolitical analyst and Host of The New Atlas, noted that the war in Iran has been decades in the making and was never meant to just be a four-day operation.

He pointed out that the U.S. has its eye on its biggest competition: China. And because Washington knows it can’t compete with Beijing economically or militarily, it is looking for ways to cut off the resources China imports from the Middle East, starting with a maritime blockade on oil traffic.

IRAN TARGETS GULF, ISRAELI OIL AND GAS IN RETALIATION FOR ATTACK ON SOUTH PARS | Laith Marouf

Israel just sent both tensions and energy prices soaring, with attacks on South Pars, the world’s largest natural gas field, which is operated by Iran and Qatar. Tehran has announced it will retaliate against Gulf and Israeli oil infrastructure, and it has issued warnings to residents near gas fields and refineries in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar.

Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, has issued a warning to those responsible for the attacks, saying: “You attacked our infrastructure and energy in the south. Your infrastructure, energy, and gas facilities will burn to ashes at the first opportunity.”

Laith Marouf, a journalist and executive director of Free Palestine TV, noted that these strikes by Israel will have an impact, not just on Iran and Qatar, but on the global economy as it’s yet another attack on the world’s supply of oil and natural gas, and another escalation in this illegal war of aggression against Iran.

The U.S. Director of the National Counterterrorism Center has become the first official within Trump Administration to step down in protest of the war in Iran. Joe Kent announced his resignation, with a statement on X, in which he said: “I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”

This, as the U.S. and Israel continue their illegal war of aggression against the Iranian people, with Israel claiming to have murdered Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council. We do not yet have confirmation of that claim.

Prof. Seyed Mohammad Marandi, of the University of Tehran, noted that the Iranian people are more united than ever in their resolve to continue to stand for their nation, to refuse the demands of the U.S., and to continue this war “until the facts on the ground have changed.”

President Trump is now claiming that any evidence the U.S. has not completely destroyed the Iranian military, or that the Iranian people are taking to the streets in support of their government is… “AI-generated.” Yes, really.

This, after the IRGC reported an attack on the USS Abraham Lincoln, that it says rendered the aircraft carrier “inoperable,” and reports now say that open-source satellite images from China are showing both the USS Lincoln and the USS Gerald R. Ford have retreated further away from Iran’s coast.

ISRAEL COULD ‘GO NUCLEAR’ AS IT RUNS OUT OF INTERCEPTORS, IRAN INCREASES ATTACKS | Chris Helali

Reports say Israel is running low on interceptor missiles, as Iran continues to launch new waves of its retaliatory attacks, employing new weapons as it targets sites across the Zionist colony.

It's getting so bad that even Trump's AI Czar, David Sacks, warned that Israel is "getting hit harder than they've ever been hit before in their history," and said there are concerns about Netanyahu's government "escalating the war by contemplating using a nuclear weapon."

Chris Helali, a journalist, geopolitical analyst and co-host of DD Geopolitics, noted that the question of whether Israel will use a nuclear weapon (tactical or otherwise) is a legitimate concern, and it would be a point of no return for Iran, and for the world as we are plunged into a new phase of World War 3.

Col. Macgregor: IRAN WAR WILL BE THE END OF THE U.S. MILITARY IN WEST ASIA

Iran's new leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, just delivered his first address to the nation, and he declared that: "The Strait of Hormuz must remain closed," and that Iran will continue its retaliation, saying: "We will not give up on avenging the blood of martyrs."

Ret. U.S. Army Col. Douglas Macgregor noted that the Trump Admin has put the U.S. Military and all of its allies in the region in an incredibly dangerous position, as not only can they not "win" a war against Iran... but Iran is not backing down in its attacks, and its closure of the Strait of Hormuz alone is the start of an "economic Armageddon."

Meanwhile, Iran is continuing to send oil to China, with reports saying nearly 12 million barrels of Iranian crude have been exported since the start of the war.

President Trump is throwing yet another temper tantrum on social media—this time, over Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and the chaos that has ensued for both states in the Persian Gulf that rely heavily on oil exports and for the regions of the world (from India to Europe) who get a significant portion of their oil from the Middle East.

In fact, reports are saying that the Trump Admin is even considering easing sanctions on Russian oil, as a way to try to cool prices and aid global supply.

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that Iran is making sure it isn’t the only one feeling the pain from the illegal war of aggression the U.S. and Israel are waging against the Iranian people. As a result, we are seeing Iran take unprecedented steps to impact that global economy, for as long as they are under attack.

He also continued to throw a temper tantrum over Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz, while claiming the U.S. has “wiped every single force in Iran out” (except the ones guarding the Strait, apparently)

Former CIA Analyst Larry Johnson noted that the war the U.S. and Israel have waged against Iran has the power to “trigger a global economic collapse,” as oil traffic comes to a halt and the U.S. vassal states in the Persian Gulf come under fire from Iran.

Iran may have spent years preparing for a prolonged war, but the region is acting as though they were taken by surprise…

PERSIAN GULF STATES PANIC AS IRAN REFUSES TO END THE WAR, ELECTS NEW LEADER | Sharmine Narwani

We are just over one week into the latest phase of the U.S. and Israel’s war on Iran, and Tehran is following through on its promise to make the global economy feel the pain of this war. With the Strait of Hormuz effectively closed, around 20% of global oil traffic has come to a screeching halt and states in the Persian Gulf are being forced to cut production as they run out of storage.

Sharmine Narwani, a journalist and columnist at The Cradle, noted that decades of being targeted and attacked by the U.S. put Iran in a position where it was forced to prepare for this war.

And it is prepared for a prolonged war, as Tehran’s Assembly of Experts has elected Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and a veteran of the Iran-Iraq War, as their new leader. A reminder that Iran is still standing, strong and united.
