### Board Elections coming around again

The LBRY Foundation is holding elections for 2 of its board member positions!

Those interested in joining the LBRY Foundation board of directors must declare their candidacy by November 12th.

There will then be a 3 week period of discussion followed by a 2 week period of voting ending on December 15th. The winner will be declared on December 16th and seated on January 1st, 2022.

#### Responsibilities

* Meet once a week with fellow board members
* Appoint personnel to positions of responsibility
* Maintain the legal standing of the LBRY 501c3
* Oversee LBRY Foundation assets
* Foster engagement and partnership opportunities
* Encourage development of the LBRY protocol

#### Declaring Candidacy

Anyone with the **LBRYian role** on the LBRY Foundation Discord for more than **6 months** at the time of this post is eligible to run for the board position:

To run for the board seat you must submit a declaration by November 12th, 11:59pm ET.

Declarations are submitted by completing the form at:

#### Discussions

The discussion period will start on November 4th and end on November 25th.

#### Voting

You must register in order to vote.

Registration will be open from October 28th - November 28th at 11:59pm ET.
