I've wasted $70 (IDR 1 Juta) for this legendary nostalgia VSTi from Roland, the SoundCanvas VA, only to find, yes there is just about authentic experience, **but its GUI does not interpret bitmap & text display**. WHAT?!?!? WTF?? WHY???

Luckily, Octavia framework has this demo right here, for $0, complete with blur! Of course, not a complete package either, but combination should suffice for now.

But hey, you can buy SoundCanvas VA, if eBay hunting is not your cup of tea.

## Bugs

- ~~The `Stop display bitmap` command wrongly interpreted. It supposedly tell the display to go back to spectrum immediately. Here in Octavia, it instead shows blank bitmap~~ [**FIXED**](https://github.com/ltgcgo/octavia/issues/42#issuecomment-2037930802 )

## How to use this Octavia framework demonstration

You are required to use both the MIDI & the pre-rendered audio itself. This framework demonstration software **does not do soundfont nor synthesizing**.

Ensure that the Audio sync with the MIDI instructions itself. It is best to use somekind of system or feature that allows you to press play to just render MIDI one to one to its timing.

- Side touchpad click are not converted to the center touchpad click, but trackballings with Dualsense are converted. divided into 2 for each trackball left and right
- Gyro aim. Aim like you are lifting Steam Deck, through screen you aim. the bottom is your nozzle lazer. roll left right to left right, roll up down to up down.
- Disable any input emulator such as DualSenseX. Steam already has input for you.
- uses conventional Rumble on the Steam Input, which DualSense already converted. I think.. or use Audio? nah, Steam Deck touchpad haptic isn't as advanced as its former (Steam Controller), idk..
