traumatized in uh I think it was late
elementary school It was a a neigh she
was at some neighbor's house around this
the block on the next street Friends of
ours Their nephew was visiting from out
of state and Aspen our daughter was in
the bathroom He went in there and locked
the door behind her behind him and began
to assault her Well and where was
everybody else in the home just not
distant or at the store or whatever Wow
And so what what I understood was that
she had screamed and pitched you know a
huge fit and got out of there and we
were celebrating Hey great job you
fought and and and raised hell which you
should have Yeah Dad or girl that's the
way to do it Well years and years later
she confided well it went further than
just an attempt Oh so children aren't
always good at articulating what
happened So we were just the trauma of
what world champion you go girl Way to
fight back you know way to stop it Well
later she's like well that it went
further in that So that deeply shook her
so multiple times Anyway I'm here to
tell you if you think that mercy on
predators is somehow good No way It's
not It's counterproductive It's It's
negligence It's gross negligence to
allow to go soft on predators It just is
